VOICE DEPARTMENT / IMMERSION ARTS

The Voice Department is designed to introduce students to fundamental vocal techniques including breath control, phrasing, enunciation, interpretation, and presentation. In-class exercises will help refine and strengthen the student’s developing voice.

All voice classes teach:
- Warm-up exercises
- Correct posture
- Basic vowel sounds and correct articulation
- Relaxation exercises
- Improving placement, volume, vocal range, dynamics
- Developing basic music theory
- Stage presentation

Developing Your Voice Ages 10-18 Saturday, 11:30am-1:00pm $349
Singers will gain confidence in learning new material and singing in front of others. Students will work to increase their range, vocal power, and song interpretation skills. Both ensemble and solo singing skills will be taught.

Vocal Performance Ages 13-19 Thursday 4:30pm-6:30pm $440
A vocal performance should be more than just singing the music, in this class emotion and vocal nuances will be discussed and worked on, as well as vocal quality and performance/audition techniques. Each student will be required to work new material and perform weekly, learning about the different styles of music in contemporary and classic musical theatre. This class is for the intermediate to advanced student, who has a good working knowledge of their voice and placement. Students must have teacher approval before registering.
An accompanist will be provided for each class.

Private Voice Lessons      
Private voice lessons are available on-site from any of our vocal teachers. Weekly lessons or preparation for an audition or performance can be scheduled. Private lessons allow for the student to work closely with an instructor to allow for a more concentrated growth and potential. Half-hour and hour times available.

MUSIC CLASSES / COME PLAY WITH US
This selection of classes at Theater 360 is for the student who is interested
in exploring the performing arts and “expressing” their artistic side.
Song Birds Ages 6-9 Saturday, 10:00am-11:30am $349
This wonderful class will expose our budding songbirds to the joys of musical theatre. Students will be introduced to vocal scales, placement, and basic theatrical singing techniques. New course work will vary with each session.

Create Your
Own Musical
Ages 8-13 Friday, 4:30pm-6:00pm $325
In this fun and exciting class, students create and develop their own characters, scenes, and songs culminating in an original musical theatre piece. In addition to creating and developing an original show, students will be introduced to singing and acting techniques.
