Do I need to make an appointment?
Yes. If you are renting for a theatre, school, Halloween, or other group you will need to make an appointment. This allows us to give you the attention to help you find everything you will need for your production’s needs. Our hours are Tuesday-Thursday, and Saturdays by appointment.
How much does it cost to rent?
Prices vary according to items rented and duration of rental. During your appointment our staff will provide rental costs regarding items you are interested in.
What other requirements do I need in order to secure a rental?
- You will need to present a valid California Drivers License or I.D.
- A security deposit is required and will be held until the rental is returned.
- Each costume piece rented will need to be laundered according to directions on garment, prior to return. (Accordingly the item you are renting will be freshly laundered)
- If you are renting stock for an entire production you will need to leave a major credit card on file and attach Theatre 360 to your insurance rider for the duration of rental.
- A contract will need to be signed, stating rental times and requirements. All items will need to be adhered too, to avoid late charges or re-stocking fees.
How long can I keep my rental?
Theatre 360 is flexible on rental times. If you are renting for a weekend event, you may pick up on Thursday and return item(s) the following Thursday. There is no additional charge for this, time is allowed for cleaning. If you are renting for a production we can work around your production schedule.
Can I alter my rented custume pieces?
Yes, as long as there are not permanent changes to costume, costume must be returned in exact state as when rented.
What if something happens to the item(s) I rented?
Please call the staffing person with whom you are working with on your order to discuss any problems you might be having.
Production rentals:
We do allow you to pull extra costumes so that you have choices in fittings. However, any item(s) not being used for production will need to be returned by agreed upon date.
